The FCC has cleared the way for carriers to retire copper on as little as 90 days' notice, and POTS pricing has surged. Lines that once cost $29 a month now routinely top $300, and some exceed $900. This health system faced that reality across 417 locations, with 3,000 POTS lines drawing $3,348,964 a year. No one could confirm how many lines were still in active use. Fire alarms, elevator phones, and security panels governed by codes like NFPA 72 depended on them, so in a hospital these are life-safety systems, not line items.
We started with an audit of every line and every location, traced to the system it served. Dormant lines were cut. The remaining lines moved to a purpose-built POTS replacement solution with cellular backup on every endpoint, so critical systems stay connected even when the primary path fails.
One of the largest out-of-home advertising operations in the U.S. reaches audiences nationwide, from Times Square and airport terminals to street furniture and roadside billboards for events like the FIFA World Cup. The company was managing more than 45 connectivity providers. Services were deployed inconsistently, and each location bought its own bandwidth independently, leaving no visibility into contracts, services, or spend.
We consolidated network suppliers from 45 down to 3, simplifying management and operations and reducing downtime. The consolidation funded a migration to SD-WAN that doubled bandwidth and added reliable, redundant connections at every location, while keeping cost neutral.
The U.S. arm of one of the world's largest food and facilities management operations serves corporate campuses, hospitals, senior living, K-12 and university dining, government sites, stadiums, arenas, and airport lounges. It was running an aging, premise-based PBX and contact center with limited software integration and little flexibility. The system was reaching end of life and facing a costly on-premises upgrade.
We ran our methodology end to end. Assess: evaluated their current-state services, identified gaps and limitations, and quantified the risk and cost of doing nothing. Plan: recommended a detailed but accelerated review of the marketplace. Solve: ran an accelerated supplier-capabilities review and selection, negotiated pricing and terms, and supported implementation.
A leading provider of cloud- and carrier-neutral data centers operates roughly 270 properties across 77 metros in 36 countries, with 13,700 employees and more than 10,000 customers. It had no unified view of its mobile services. With 21 different mobile providers across multiple countries, languages, and regulatory requirements, the company needed a single platform for expense management, bill pay, and full lifecycle management of a complex mobile service and equipment environment.
We conducted a comprehensive supplier-capabilities review and demo of the leading mobile-management service companies with deep global experience, then guided the client to the platform that could operate at their scale.
I spent 20 years working for carriers, on the side that sells technology. I know how these deals get made, and I saw too many capable teams make expensive, hard-to-reverse decisions with incomplete information, guided by people paid to sell rather than to advise.
G2C works differently. We sit on your side of the table. We have no product to push and no quota to hit. Our guidance comes from people who have been in the room for these decisions and know what a good one looks like.
When you engage us, you get me and my team personally invested in your outcome. That is a commitment we hold on every engagement.
Here is what you can expect from us, and what we hold ourselves to on every engagement, without exception.
We answer to you, never to a vendor quota. Every recommendation reflects what's right for your business.
Decisions built on fact and deep market knowledge, with no guesswork and no overselling.
We do the research and legwork, so your people stay focused on running the business.
From selection through implementation and beyond, we stand behind our recommendations for the long haul.
Real results, in our clients' own words.
Gwyn ran telecom and IT sourcing for my group when I was Head of Cost and Process Transformation at a global financial services firm. She took 32% off our annual run rate of $4.2M. What I valued most was how she worked: she had no product to push, she told me when an option was wrong even when saying so cost her, and she stayed with a problem until it was closed. When I founded EvoXvantage, I didn't go looking for a sourcing partner. I already knew who I wanted, and I asked her.
Gwyn saved us $1.5 million in annualized run-rate cost at Guardian Pharmacy by replacing our POS lines and delivering dedicated internet access fiber at well below what we'd been paying. She also replaced underperforming vendors with partners who actually delivered. After I moved to TireHub, she audited our telecom invoices and found $70,000 we were still paying on closed locations. I'd recommend her for any technology sourcing work.
